Terms of Use

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 25, 2026 · Version française

These terms govern your use of Showcase.me, the iPhone and iPad app and the web pages that display shared portfolios (together, the “service”), published by Charles-Adrien Fournier, an independent developer (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.

The service

Showcase.me lets you gather your photos into projects, present them as a portfolio and share them through links that open in a web browser. We may improve, change or discontinue features; we will try to give notice before removing a feature you rely on.

Your account

You need an account (email and password, or Sign in with Apple) to use the app. Keep your sign-in details secure: you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Account › Delete Account); this permanently deletes your projects, photos, share links and profile.

Your content

You keep all rights to the photos and text you add. To run the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, resize (for example thumbnails and watermarked copies) and display your content to you and to the people you share it with, for as long as it is in the service.

You must have the rights to everything you upload, and you must not use the service for content that is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or is hateful, violent, sexually explicit involving minors, or meant to harass. We may remove such content, disable links and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Anyone who has a share link can view the project or portfolio it points to, without an account. You can disable or delete a link at any time; a disabled link stops working immediately. We count the views of each link. Watermarked links show your photos with your watermark, at up to 2048 pixels.

Free version and Showcase.me Pro

The free version lets you create projects up to your account’s project limit (including any projects you bought or received before Showcase.me Pro existed, which stay yours) and keep one share link active at a time.

Showcase.me Pro adds unlimited projects, unlimited active share links, view counts and the watermark. It is offered as an auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly; the yearly plan may include a free trial. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe and may vary by country.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings, or from the app (Account › Manage Subscription). Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid.
  • If you subscribe during a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when the paid subscription starts.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to its policies.

When Pro ends, nothing is deleted: your projects stay visible and editable, links that had the watermark keep it, and your share links beyond the free allowance are disabled — the most recent one stays active. Subscribing again lets you turn them back on.

Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Keep your own copies of your original photos. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of data or revenue arising from the use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.

Changes

We may update these terms, for example when the service changes. We will publish the new version here and, for significant changes, inform you in the app. If you keep using the service after a change, the updated terms apply.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. For any question, write to feedback@cafournier.com.
